The 2nd edition of BC Amazon Week invites specialists and researchers to submit their original works, meta-analyses, and case reports. Actively contribute to the evolution of contemporary medical literature and gain the opportunity to present your results alongside an international faculty of excellence. Submissions will be open from July 10, 2026 to August 30, 2026.

Scientific Abstract Rules & Regulations

Official Deadlines and Dates

Submissions: July 15, 2026, to August 30, 2026.
Evaluation: September 1 to 22, 2026.
Announcement of approved abstracts: September 25, 2026.

Authorship and Languages

Allowed languages: Portuguese, Spanish, or English.
Authors: There is no limit to the number of authors. The order of names is the authors' responsibility, but the first author must necessarily be the presenter of the abstract. At least one author must be registered for the event.

Categories and Types of Submission

Categories:
1 - Medicine (based on the first author's medical background).
2 - Multidisciplinary (nursing, nutrition, psychology, physiotherapy, etc., also based on the first author's background).
Types of Submission:
1. Original Study (Note: series with 10 or more cases must necessarily be submitted under this category).
2. Case Report(s) (Limited to a maximum of 9 cases).
3. Meta-analysis (Simple literature reviews will not be accepted).

Structure and Limits

Title: Maximum of 250 characters.
Abstract Body: Maximum of 250 words (single font/format).
Attachments: Maximum of 3 images (tables or figures).
Mandatory Structure (Original Study and Meta-analysis): Introduction, Objective, Method, Results, and Conclusion.
Mandatory Structure (Case Report): Introduction, Case Presentation, Discussion, and Final Comments.

Ethical and Scientific Guidelines

The abstract must be unpublished (it cannot have been previously published in scientific journals).
It requires approval from the local Research Ethics Committee (REC / IRB) (when applicable).
Medications: Only generic drug names in lowercase letters are allowed (commercial/brand names are strictly prohibited).
References and Results: Bibliographical references must not be included in the submitted text. Statements such as "results will be presented" will lead to immediate disqualification.
