It is with great honor and immense satisfaction that we announce the 2nd edition of — a gathering born in Manaus that has now established itself as one of the most relevant scientific experiences in global Bariatric and Metabolic Surgery and Endoscopy.

Over the past years, the Bariatric Channel (BC) has remained committed to its mission of democratizing, deepening, and sharing world-class knowledge, connecting surgeons, endoscopists, and specialists from different continents through scientific content of the highest caliber.

​

What began as an innovative initiative has evolved into a strong, respected, and international community. Through years of online meetings, lectures, roundtable discussions, scientific debates, article reviews, surgical technique exchanges, multicenter experiences, and the building of meaningful professional relationships, we have created something truly unique.

​

Today, we are more than a scientific platform — we are the BC Family.

​

The first edition of BC Amazon Week exceeded all expectations and confirmed the strength of this international scientific community.

​

We welcomed 422 participating surgeons, brought together 77 speakers — including 35 international and 42 national experts — and conducted 30 live surgeries, including remote broadcasts from partner cities in Brazil and the United States.

​

Today, Bariatric Channel connects a global community of more than 900 active bariatric surgeons, strengthening every day a network of scientific collaboration, innovation, and professional friendship that transcends borders.

​

Following the extraordinary success of the first edition, we return stronger than ever to write a new chapter in this story, bringing together colleagues and friends from around the world in person from October 19 to 23, 2026, in Manaus, in the heart of the Amazon.

​

These will be intense days of learning, innovation, integration, and shared experiences, in an environment that combines science, technology, live surgeries, high-level discussions, and international networking.

We are confident that this second edition will be even more extraordinary, delivering memorable moments and transformative experiences for all participants.
